It looks like I put an outfit together — it feels like I never got out of my comfies. Nobody needs to know which is true

An outfit that's already decided for me and still looks deliberate — that's what my mornings were missing. I'm 67, and the daily assembly of 'which top goes with which trousers' has produced more mediocre outfits than I care to count. Comfies solve the effort problem but announce to the world that you've stopped trying; 'proper' clothes look right and feel like a small punishment by mid-afternoon.

What I wanted was one outfit I could put on in ten seconds that looked intentional and felt like a day off.

The fabric is a soft breathable blend with genuine stretch, so it moves when I bend for the washing basket, and the relaxed cut skims rather than clings. Sneakers make it casual; a necklace and sandals make it lunch-worthy. Same set, both directions.
