I'd stopped wearing my warmest jumpers because of the itch — then I found one that's soft on the inside too

Soft as it looks, and none of the itch — that's the whole reason I'm writing about a jumper. I'm 67, and half my warm jumpers had quietly migrated to the back of the wardrobe for one silly reason: they itch. That prickle at the back of the neck by ten o'clock, the cuffs you keep pushing away from your wrists — I'd started choosing my clothes by what wouldn't irritate me rather than what I liked.
